WELCOME TO FOLK A L'ESTIU 2013

This Summertime Folk festival, which will take place in Girona City, is all about folk music and dancing orginating mainly from Catalan and Occitanian countries but it also touches on other minority European cultures. This Festival has stemmed from the folk dancing workshop that runs throughout the year at the Sant Narcís Community centre and also derives from the summer traditional music and dance course at the University of Girona. This festival intends to be a free and open activity while it being an important feature in Girona's cultural heritage. This year's festival will run from the 5th to 7th of July respectively.
